Organisation

The SMRE graduate school is run by a director, who is assisted by a deputy director, the Doctoral School Board, a pedagogy committee and the executive board

The executive board is organised as follows :

Its purpose is to support the Director in their role, particularly in managing daily operations and enhancing the school's overall performance

The Pedagogy Committee is made up of :

  • the Director of the Doctoral School
  • the Deputy Director
  • all the Directors of Doctoral Study Faculties (DED)
  • Coordinators of Graduate Programmes that fall within the scope of the school

It is responsible for organising and providing doctoral students with disciplinary and cross-disciplinary training aimed at developing transferable skills for their professional careers

It ensures that all scientific fields are equally prioritized in the school's missions. The members of the Pedagogy Committee are members of the school board, which is organised and chaired by the Director

The Graduate School Council is made up of maximum 26 members, including :

  • 13 representatives of the co-accredited institutions, research groups and graduate programmes
  • 2 representatives of the engineering, administrative or technical staff linked to the Doctoral School (BIATSS) or the Research and Development Department of accredited institutions
  • 5 representatives of the student body currently registered at the Doctoral School
  • 5 members selected from qualified figures outside of the Doctoral School, who are active in scientific fields and socio-economic sectors related to those of the school
  • the ED Director, ex officio member with a deciding vote

It is chaired by the Graduate School management

It approves the school's action program and scientific policy, following the decisions made by the Scientific Advisory Board of accredited institutions. It manages the affairs of the Doctoral School through its rulings

The Board meets when summoned by the Graduatel School management

The Internal Rules of Procedure serve as modus operandi
They are intended to clarify the roles, responsibilities and operations of the ED SMRE 104
They were adopted by the School Board on 6 May 2022
