Doctoral Candidates and Alumni Network

There are numerous networks for doctoral candidates and alumni at the ED SMRE, as well as on national and international levels
These associations provide opportunities for doctoral candidates and graduates to meet and exchange ideas

 

At the University of Lille

  • ADSL: Association for doctoral candidates in science in Lille.
  • Consulid: University of Lille's own consulting agency for doctoral candidates. It is run by other doctoral candidates from the University of Lille, Centrale Lille and IMT Lille Douai.

In France

  • CJC: Confederation of Young Researchers
  • ANDès: The French Doctors of Science Association
  • PhDTalent: An association founded by volunteer doctoral candidates and young doctors interested in entrepreneurship and innovation, applied research and the transfer of concepts and ideas.

Abroad

  • EURODOC: the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers

The Redox network

The Redox network, created in July 2009 as a non-profit association, is based at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris
Bringing together more than 20 Doctoral Schools, including ED SMRE, Redox is the 1st French network of Doctoral Schools in Chemistry, with the following objectives :

    Attract the best candidates for a PhD in Chemistry
    Promote the Doctorate in Chemistry to companies for employment purposes
    Facilitate the recruitment of PhDs in Chemistry
    Facilitate the work of the Directors of the Doctoral Schools by enabling them to work in a network

ADSL is an association that brings together doctoral candidates from Lille's doctoral schools of science and technology. It works to promote:

  1. the life of the doctoral school by encouraging meetings and communication between doctoral candidates;
  2. the doctoral qualification in the corporate world.

The University of Lille provides support for its own consulting agency working for doctoral candidates.
They aim to enhance the exchange of theoretical and technical skills between academic and economic stakeholders in the Hauts-de-France region.
The Consulid team provides a range of services, including technology intelligence, feasibility studies, innovation audits and consulting, technical assistance, and training.
