Registering for an HDR

The institution's President examines applications for registration for the HDR. A decision is made based on the proposal of the Scientific Council, which meets in a restricted configuration. Additionally, the opinion of the guarantor and the director of the doctoral school is taken into consideration before making the final decision

The doctoral affairs department at the University of Lille will then send you a decree notifying you of the decision made

Once you receive this confirmation with the relevant documents to fill out, you can proceed with your administrative/annual registration

Please note: If your application is approved by the Scientific Council, you will be enrolled at the university and will have to pay the registration fees. As such, you will be committing to defend your HDR during the academic year of your registration, as each administrative registration is valid for the current academic year (1 September - 31 August N+1)
