Difficulties and conflicts may arise between doctoral candidates, their supervisors and the lab management. An amicable settlement is generally proposed
The ED SMRE is committed to preventing and resolving conflicts during doctoral studies, within its remit, in accordance with the Doctoral Charter and in line with its actions.

Disagreements and conflicts are nothing out of the ordinary. Feel free to reach out to the doctoral school or your Doctoral Study Faculty (DED) to report/discuss a relational concern and help you find a solution
Act before the situation becomes too difficult to resolve

Your Individual Examining Committee (CSI) may also inform the doctoral school management of the need to organise mediation

This possibility of conflict resolution, offered by the doctoral school, is not exclusive; rather, it complements other methods of conflict resolution
As such, the University of Lille is committed to supporting victims of various forms of harassment by offering help and means to fight violence
